# Invoices, Payments and Account Credit

> Find, pay and download FlashRDP invoices in the Billing Portal, pay with account credit, cryptocurrency or card, and add credit in advance.

Every order, renewal, upgrade and add-on creates an invoice. You find and pay them all under **Billing** in the [Billing Portal](https://new.flashrdp.com/billing). Renewal invoices are created about 7 days before the due date.

## Billing at a glance

**Billing** has three tabs:

* **Overview:** unpaid invoices with a **Pay** button each, your account credit, what you have paid to date, six months of spending and renewals in the next 14 days
* **Invoices:** every invoice. Filter by **All**, **Unpaid**, **Paid**, **Cancelled** or **Refunded**, or search by invoice number.
* **Credits:** your account credit balance, **Add credit**, and a history of every credit movement

</Steps>

<Info>
  For a new server, the paid invoice shows the setup progress: **Payment**, **Provisioning**, then **Server ready**. The login details are emailed when the server is ready.
</Info>

See [Payment methods](/docs/account/payments-crypto) for details on cryptocurrency and card payments.

## Download an invoice as PDF

## Add account credit

Credit pays future invoices and renewals, and never expires. It is not applied automatically: when an invoice arrives, open it and choose **Account balance**.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Credits">
    Go to **Billing → Credits**, or click **Add funds** on the Dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick an amount">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Pay the credit invoice">
    Click **Continue to payment**. An invoice opens; pay it with cryptocurrency or card (account credit can't pay for more credit). The amount is added to your balance once it is paid.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Set your preferred payment method

Go to **Settings → Billing** and pick a **Preferred payment method**. It is preselected when you pay an invoice and used for new orders, upgrades and add-ons. You can still switch on each invoice.

## Renewals and overdue invoices

Each server renews at the end of its billing cycle. This is what happens around the due date:

| When | What happens |
| - | - |
| 7 days before | A renewal invoice is created and emailed to you. |
| 2 days before | A payment reminder is emailed. |
| Due date | The invoice is due. Unpaid invoices then show **Overdue**, the Dashboard counts them and a dot appears next to **Billing**. |
| 1 day after | A 10% late fee is added to the invoice. |
| 2 days after | The server is suspended. Its page shows **This server is suspended** with a **Pay invoice** button, and it is switched back on automatically once you pay. |
| 3 and 4 days after | Overdue reminders are emailed. |
| 5 days after | The invoice is cancelled and the server is terminated. Its data is deleted and its IP addresses are released. |

<Warning>
  Termination can't be undone. Pay before day 5 to keep your server and data. Once per service, while it is suspended, you can [open a ticket](https://new.flashrdp.com/support/new) to ask for a 7-day extension.
</Warning>

Cryptocurrency renewals are paid by you, invoice by invoice. If you chose automatic renewal when paying by card, the card is charged by our card processor; cancelling a server doesn't stop that renewal, so cancel it with Tebex or by ticket. See our [payment terms](/docs/terms/payment-terms) and [Termination of Service](/docs/terms/termination-of-service).
