# Find Your Server Credentials

> Locate your FlashRDP Windows RDP or Linux VPS login details: check welcome emails, spam folders, the Client Area, or reset the server password.

After placing an order with FlashRDP, your server credentials are usually delivered automatically within a few minutes.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Wait for Deployment to Complete">
    Once your payment is confirmed by the payment gateway, your server will begin provisioning automatically.

    * Most orders are deployed within **3 to 5 minutes**.
    * In some cases, deployment may take up to **10 minutes** depending on the selected operating system and node availability.

    <Info>Please allow up to 10 minutes before contacting support.</Info>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check Your Email">
    When your server is ready, you will receive an email containing your access credentials.

    ### Windows Servers

    Look for an email with the subject: **"Your Windows Server is Nearly Ready!"**

    This email contains:

    * Server IP Address
    * Administrator Username
    * Administrator Password

    ### Linux Servers

    Look for an email with the subject: **"Your New Server Password"**

    This email contains your server login credentials and connection details.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check Your Spam or Junk Folder">
    Sometimes email providers incorrectly classify automated messages. Before contacting support, please:

    * Check your Spam or Junk folder
    * Search your inbox for emails from FlashRDP
    * Mark FlashRDP emails as "Not Spam" if found in your spam folder
    * Add our email address to your safe sender list to ensure future notifications arrive correctly
  </Step>

  <Step title="Reset Your Server Password">
    If you cannot locate the credentials email, you can generate a new password directly from the client area.

    Visit your [Client Area Services](https://billing.flashrdp.com/clientarea.php?action=productdetails) and verify that your service status shows **Active** or **Complete**.

    Then:

    1. Open the service details page
    2. Click **Reset Server Password**
    3. Wait approximately 1 to 2 minutes

    A new password will be generated and delivered automatically to your email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="reinstall the Server">
    If resetting the password does not resolve the issue, you may reinstall the server. Scroll down to the reinstall section within your service page and select your preferred operating system.

    <Warning>
      **Important:** Rebuilding a server permanently erases all existing data and reinstalls the operating system from scratch.

      * All current files and configurations will be removed
      * A fresh installation will be performed
      * Deployment typically completes within 3 to 5 minutes
    </Warning>

    Once complete, new credentials will be generated and sent to you.
  </Step>
</Steps>
