## Key Facts
- **Setup:** Servers set themselves up automatically; login details are emailed on average in under 3 minutes after payment.
- **Virtualization:** Every server is a KVM virtual machine. vCPUs are shared; RAM and SSD storage are allocated to the server.
- **Access:** Full Administrator access on Windows and root access on Linux.
- **Windows licensing:** Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025 ships with Microsoft's 180-day evaluation license at no extra cost. The evaluation can be extended with Microsoft's rearm command (`slmgr /rearm`); the number of rearms depends on the Windows Server version, and `slmgr /dlv` shows how many are left. FlashRDP does not resell SPLA licenses; to run a server long-term, activate your own Windows Server license (bring your own license, BYOL) at any time.
- **IP addresses:** One dedicated IPv4 address is included; 3 more cost $4.00/month or 5 more $8.00/month. An IPv6 subnet appears on the server's Network tab when one is assigned.
- **Bandwidth:** Every server has a 1 Gbps port with 1,000 GB of monthly transfer at full speed; after 1,000 GB the port is limited to 512 Kbps until the 1st of the next month, and more can be bought by ticket. - **DDoS protection:** Free Layer 4 DDoS protection on every server.
- **Backups:** Daily off-site backups are included free on 3, 6 and 12-month billing and cost $5.00/month on monthly billing.

- **Payments:** Cryptocurrency (50+ coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Solana, TRON and Litecoin) and credit and debit cards plus regional payment methods.

- **Self-service:** The Billing Portal has power controls, a browser console, OS reinstall, reverse DNS, SSH keys, backups and plan upgrades; a REST API covers servers, SSH keys and account details.

- **Allowed:** Automation tools (Selenium, Playwright), trading platforms and bots (MT4/MT5, NinjaTrader), blockchain nodes, private VPNs for your own devices (WireGuard, OpenVPN), game servers, web testing, and general web and app hosting.
- **Prohibited:** Phishing, spam or bulk email (outbound port 25 is blocked by default and opened on request with a business justification), cryptocurrency mining, open or public proxies, public VPN services and Tor exit nodes, BitTorrent or other P2P sharing of content you don't have the rights to distribute, outbound DDoS, malware hosting, child exploitation material, and anything that violates US federal law.
