From order to a running strategy
- 1. OrderPick a plan and location; pay by crypto or card.
- 2. ConnectCredentials arrive by email; connect with Remote Desktop.
- 3. InstallDownload NinjaTrader 8 from ninjatrader.com and connect your data feed.
- 4. RunEnable your strategies, then close the RDP window with the X.

Does NinjaTrader 8 run on Windows Server?
Yes. NinjaTrader lists Windows 11 or Windows Server 2016 or later, 64-bit, as supported operating systems. FlashRDP provides Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025.
Which plan meets NinjaTrader's recommended specs?
Silver. NinjaTrader recommends a quad-core 2 GHz or faster 64-bit processor and 8 GB RAM; Silver has 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM. Gold (16 GB) gives more room for strategy optimizations.
Does it need a graphics card?
NinjaTrader highly recommends a DirectX 10 compatible graphics card. FlashRDP servers have no dedicated GPU, so Windows draws charts in software. That works for running strategies and normal charting; very chart-heavy workspaces may feel slower than on a desktop with a GPU.
How close is it to the exchange?
Not co-located. CME Group's data center is in the Chicago area; FlashRDP runs in Phoenix, Arizona and Paris, France. It suits charting and automated strategies that are not sensitive to a few milliseconds, not latency-critical high-frequency trading.
Do my strategies keep running when I disconnect?
Yes. Close the Remote Desktop window with the X and NinjaTrader keeps running. Don't choose Shut down or Sign out inside Windows unless you mean to stop it.
Is a Windows Server license included?
Windows Server comes preinstalled with Microsoft's 180-day evaluation license at no extra cost. FlashRDP does not resell SPLA licenses, so for long-term production use you activate your own Windows Server license.
