What is a Windows RDP server?
A Windows RDP server is a Windows Server virtual machine in a datacenter that you control remotely over Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol. You see and use its full desktop from your own computer or phone, while it keeps running 24/7 on its own network connection. RDP hosting, a Windows VPS and Windows Server hosting describe the same product: a dedicated Windows environment with Administrator access, hosted in Phoenix for the USA or Paris for Europe.
Questions before you deploy
Is a Windows VPS the same as an RDP server?
Yes, in practice. A Windows VPS is the virtual machine; RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) is how you see and use its desktop. FlashRDP sells one product under both names: a Windows Server VPS you reach over RDP, from $11.99/month in Phoenix or Paris.
How do I connect to my Windows RDP server?
Open Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc) on Windows, the Windows App on macOS, iOS and Android, or Remmina/FreeRDP on Linux. Enter the IP address and Administrator password from your welcome email. See the connection guide.
Is a Windows Server license included?
Windows Server comes preinstalled with Microsoft's 180-day evaluation license at no extra cost. FlashRDP does not resell SPLA licenses, so for long-term production use you activate your own Windows Server license.

Should I pick a USA or a Europe RDP server?
Pick the datacenter closest to you or to the services the server talks to. Phoenix, Arizona serves the USA with a US IPv4 address; Paris, France serves Europe with an EU IPv4 address. Plans and prices are identical in both.
How do I buy RDP from FlashRDP?
Choose a plan, the datacenter and the Windows Server version, then pay with crypto or card. The server is built automatically and the Administrator login is emailed, usually in under 3 minutes.
How fast is setup?
Provisioning is automatic. Once your payment is confirmed, the server is built and the Administrator credentials are emailed, usually in under 3 minutes.

How much CPU and RAM do I get?
Each plan is a KVM virtual machine with shared vCPU, from 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM up to 8 vCPU and 32 GB RAM, with full Administrator rights inside the VM.
Is bandwidth limited?
Every server has a 1 Gbps port with 1,000 GB of monthly transfer at full speed. After 1,000 GB the port is limited to 512 Kbps until the 1st of the next month; you can buy more by ticket. Details: our fair bandwidth policy.
Is sound forwarded through the RDP session?
Yes. Start the Windows Audio service on the server and audio plays on your local device.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cryptocurrency, or credit and debit cards. Pay monthly, or every 3, 6 or 12 months to save 5%, 10% or 20%.
Can I get a refund?
You get a full refund if your server isn't delivered within 24 hours of payment, or if a payment was made without your permission. Other purchases aren't refundable. See our Refund Policy.
