When running Expert Advisors (EAs) or automated trading bots on MetaTrader 4/5, uptime is everything. If your home internet drops or your computer goes to sleep, your bot stops trading and you lose money. By moving your trading terminal to a FlashRDP Windows RDP, you unlock a high-performance trading environment:
  • 100% Uptime: Your terminal runs 24/7 on enterprise hardware in our Phoenix datacenter.
  • Ultra-Low Latency: Located near major financial exchanges for lightning-fast execution.
  • Pure NVMe Storage: Fast read/write speeds ensure your EAs react instantly.
  • Full Administrator Access: Total control to install any broker’s terminal or custom EA.

How to Set Up Your Trading Server

1

Order a Windows Server

Deploy a FlashRDP Windows RDP. If you plan to run 1-2 MT4 instances, the SILVER plan is perfect. If you plan to run 5+ terminals simultaneously, look at the DIAMOND or EMERALD plans.
2

Connect to the Desktop

Wait a few minutes for the setup email, then connect via Remote Desktop (RDP). You’ll be greeted by a standard Windows desktop.
3

Download Your Broker's MT4/MT5

Open the web browser on the server, log into your Forex broker’s website (e.g., IC Markets, FTMO, Exness), and download their specific MT4 or MT5 installer.
4

Install and Log In

Run the installer just like you would on your home PC. Open MetaTrader, log into your trading account, and load up your charts and Expert Advisors.
5

Disconnect Safely

When your bots are running and you’re ready to leave, do not click ‘Shut Down’. Just close the Remote Desktop window by clicking the ‘X’ at the top of the screen. The server will keep running perfectly in the background, executing your trades 24 hours a day!
Pro-Tip: If you are running multiple EAs across different accounts, you can install MetaTrader multiple times on the same server! Just change the installation folder name (e.g., C:\Program Files\MetaTrader-Account1, C:\Program Files\MetaTrader-Account2) during the setup wizard.
