A FlashRDP Windows VPS, also called a Windows RDP, is a Windows Server virtual machine that you reach over the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). It runs 24/7 in Phoenix or Paris, you sign in as Administrator, and it gets its own IPv4 address. Login details are emailed on average in under 3 minutes after payment. With full Administrator access you control the server: install your own software, manage users and configure Windows Update the way you need. Choose Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025 when you deploy.

What you get

Full Administrator access

Install any software, edit the registry and manage users. No restricted permissions.

Choose your Windows version

Pick Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025 when you deploy. You can reinstall another version later.

SSD storage

NVMe SSD in Phoenix and SATA SSD in Paris.

DDoS filtering included

Layer 4 DDoS filtering is on automatically. See DDoS protection.

Dedicated IPv4 address

Your server’s IPv4 address is assigned to you alone while the server is active, so you can allowlist it with a broker or firewall. See IP addresses.

KVM virtualization

Each server is a full KVM virtual machine with its own RAM and SSD storage. vCPUs are shared on the host, so pick a larger plan for sustained heavy CPU use.

Flexible payments

Pay with credit and debit cards, regional payment methods, or Bitcoin, USDT and other cryptocurrencies. Sign up with your name and email, and get your login details in minutes.

Available operating systems

Pick your Windows version when you deploy, and reinstall another one at any time from the Billing Portal:
  • Windows Server 2025: Standard
  • Windows Server 2022: Standard, Optimized
  • Windows Server 2019: Standard
Windows Server is installed with Microsoft’s 180-day evaluation license at no extra cost. FlashRDP doesn’t sell Windows licenses; for use beyond the evaluation period, activate your own license. Windows Server allows two simultaneous Remote Desktop sessions for administration. See the Windows RDP FAQ.

Common use cases

A Windows RDP suits workloads that need to stay online without your own computer:
  • Remote work and desktop access: a persistent cloud workstation you can sign in to from any device.
  • Trading terminals (MT4/MT5): run Forex and crypto trading platforms and bots around the clock. See Run MT4 / MT5 on a VPS.
  • SEO and automation tools: run crawlers, scrapers and rank trackers in the background. See Host SEO crawlers.
  • Testing and development: try software or stage applications in an isolated environment.

Connect to your server

Use Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc) on Windows, the free Windows App on macOS, iOS and Android, or Remmina on Linux. The connection guide has steps for each device. You can also download a ready-made .rdp file from your server’s Overview tab.
