Questions about the FlashRDP Billing Portal at new.flashrdp.com: signing in, passwords, two-factor authentication, login email, signed-in devices, notifications and the classic client area.
The Billing Portal at new.flashrdp.com is where you manage your FlashRDP account: deploy and control servers, back them up, upgrade or cancel them, pay invoices, add credit, open support tickets and change your settings. See the Billing Portal tour.
What is billing.flashrdp.com, and do I still need it?
billing.flashrdp.com is the classic client area. You only need it for:
the advanced Server Panel: ISO media, rescue mode, server sharing and API tokens
the affiliate program
Everything else is in the Billing Portal. Both use the same email address and password, and show the same servers and invoices.
Can I use the Billing Portal on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern mobile browser. Tap the menu button at the top left to open the sidebar.
How do I find something quickly?
Press ⌘K on a Mac or CtrlK on Windows and Linux. Search for a server name or IP address, a page, or an invoice number.
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? and enter your login email. Open the link we email you within 30 minutes and choose a new password. All your devices are signed out. See Forgot your password?.
I used to sign in with Google. How do I sign in now?
The Billing Portal uses email and password. Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page to set a password for the email address your account uses.
Why does sign-in only say “Invalid email, password or code”?
For your security, every failed sign-in shows the same message, so nobody can find out which email addresses have accounts. Check the email address, the password and your authenticator app’s time, or reset your password.
How long do I stay signed in?
Up to 7 days, or until you’ve been inactive for 8 hours, whichever comes first.
Is my account password the same as my server password?
No. Your account password signs you in to the Billing Portal. Your server password signs you in to the server itself as Administrator or root. To change a server password, see Reset server password.
Go to Settings → Two-factor, click Turn on, scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, and enter the 6-digit code. Save the backup code you’re shown. See Two-factor authentication.
I lost my phone with the authenticator app
Sign in with your backup code instead of an app code, then turn two-factor off and on again with your new phone. If you’ve lost the backup code too, contact support from the email address on your account.
How do I change my login email?
Go to Settings → Security, click Change email, and enter the new address and your current password. Open the confirmation link we send to the new address within 30 minutes. Invoices go to the new address from then on.
Can I see where my account is signed in?
Yes. Settings → Security lists every signed-in browser with its country and last activity. Click Log out all other devices if you see one you don’t recognise, then change your password.
Can I add team members to my account?
Not in the Billing Portal. To let someone else manage a single server, use server sharing in the classic Server Panel. Don’t share your account password.
How do I change the name, address or tax ID on my invoices?
Go to Settings → Profile, update Personal details and Billing address, and click Save changes. New invoices and PDFs use the updated details. See Account settings.
Which emails will I receive, and can I turn them off?
Under Settings → Notifications you can switch off invoices and payments, server notices, support replies, account notices, and news and offers. Security emails, such as password changes and sign-in notices, are always sent. Turning off invoice or server emails means you won’t get renewal reminders or new server details by email.
Where is the affiliate program?
The affiliate program runs in the classic client area at billing.flashrdp.com. Sign in there with your usual email and password. See Affiliate Program.
