Getting taken offline by a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack is frustrating. That’s why every single FlashRDP server - whether it’s a Windows RDP or a Linux VPS - includes Layer 4 DDoS protection at no extra cost.

How It Works

You don’t need to configure anything or install any special software. The protection is built into our core network infrastructure in our Phoenix datacenter. If someone tries to flood your FlashRDP server with junk traffic (like TCP SYN floods or UDP reflection attacks), our edge routers instantly detect the spike. They automatically filter out the malicious packets and only let legitimate traffic through to your FlashRDP server. This happens in seconds, meaning you won’t even notice the attack is happening. Your websites stay online, your trading bots keep running, and your SSH/RDP connections remain stable.

What is Covered?

Our automated system protects against volumetric network-level (Layer 3 and Layer 4) attacks, including:
  • TCP SYN Floods
  • UDP Floods
  • ICMP / Ping Floods
  • NTP, DNS, and SSDP Amplification Attacks
Note on Layer 7 Attacks: Our protection handles raw network floods. If you are hosting a public website and getting hit by Layer 7 HTTP floods (bots mimicking real web browsers), we highly recommend routing your website through a free service like Cloudflare to complement our network-level protection.
