Find the message you see on your server’s page in the Billing Portal, then follow the fix.

Server status messages

The server is ordered but its invoice isn’t paid yet. Click Pay invoice. The server sets itself up automatically once the payment is confirmed, usually within a few minutes. See Invoices, payments and credit.
The invoice is paid and the server is being set up. Most servers are ready within 3 to 5 minutes, some within 10. If it takes more than an hour, contact support.
The operating system is being installed, after a new order or a reinstall. Power and other actions unlock when it finishes. You can leave the page.
If the renewal is overdue, the page shows Pay invoice. Pay it to restore access. For any other reason, the page shows it; open a ticket to get it resolved.
Live status and server actions are temporarily unavailable. Wait a few minutes and refresh. If it persists, check status.flashrdp.com and contact support.
Another action (power, reinstall, backup, restore) is still running. Other actions wait until it finishes.
Actions are paused during maintenance. Try again later, and see status.flashrdp.com.

Buttons and tools

Hover over it to see why. Common reasons: the server is stopped (Console, Reset password), already running (Start), an action is running, or the server is suspended.
Each server allows up to 30 power actions per hour, 5 password resets per hour and 10 reinstalls per day. Wait a while and try again.
The server must be Running. Allow pop-ups for new.flashrdp.com, since the console opens in a new tab. If it shows Disconnected, click Reconnect.
The operating system may be frozen. Use Force off on the Settings tab, then Start. Unsaved data is lost.
The Backups tab shows Backup failed. The next daily backup tries again. If it keeps failing, open a ticket.

Can’t connect over Remote Desktop or SSH

1

Check the server is running

The status at the top of the server page must be Running.
2

Check the address and username

Use the IP address from the Overview tab, Administrator on Windows and root on Linux. See Find your server credentials.
3

Reset the password

Click Reset next to Password on the Overview tab and use the password shown. See Reset server password.
4

Sign in through the console

If the password works in the Console but not over the network, a firewall or network setting inside the server is blocking you. Fix it from the console.
5

Still stuck?

Open a ticket, pick the server under Related server, and attach a screenshot of the error.
